Safeguarding and Welfare
Training Link is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the apprentices enrolled on their training programmes and expects all staff, consultants, placements and all associated working within the programmes of learning to share this commitment.
This means that we have clear procedures in place, including a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy which we operate within. All staff (including temporary, volunteers and senior management) engaged within the apprenticeship programme are made aware of our commitment, and must ensure that they are aware of these procedures.
Apprentices, parents, carers, apprentice placements and employers are welcome to read the policy which can be found below, along with other related policies found on our website.
There might be occasions where there might be the need to share information, and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about an apprentices’ welfare. If this is the case, we will ensure that our concerns about our apprentices are discussed with his/her parents/carers first, unless we have reason to believe that this would be contrary to the apprentice’s welfare.
