The ICB computerised Level 2 ‘A3’ course and assessment is the final step to becoming an Associate member of the ICB. It covers computerised data entry for all business types up to Trial Balance.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to complete this unit, it is a prerequisite that you have completed the A1 & A2 elements under the currently syllabus.

If your intention is to apply for jobs or improve your CV, or work with Accountants it is worthwhile considering our ‘A3’ Professional Course. It costs just a little extra and covers the Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels of Sage 50 Professional training at the same time. Sage 50 Professional is classed as the industry standard in the Bookkeeping and Accountancy profession and most jobs require the applicant to be proficient and have certificates to prove completion of training.

Exams

The Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Bookkeeping Paper ‘A3’ is downloaded from your members section of the ICB web site. It consists of a series of tasks to be completed, saved and uploaded for marking.

The next level of qualification from Level 2 ‘A3’ is Level 3. Completion of Level 3 is the minimum requirement for obtaining a practice licence with the ICB and upgrading to full Member status.
