Booking and attending your exam

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that the exam booked is the correct one. Details of the exam will be on your confirmation e-mail. Please contact us immediately if there are any errors.

You must show photographic ID on the day of your exam. Failure to show ID will result in you being refused entry to the exam. If you do not have any photographic ID then it is suggested you do not schedule your exam until you have it.

The following documents are acceptable:

• current valid (signed) full UK or country of origin passport
• current valid (signed) national identity (ID) card
• current valid European Economic Area (EEA) member state ID card
• current full or provisional UK/EU photocard driving licence
• current residency permit issued by the Home Office
• current valid CitizenCard (accompanied by a credit/debit card as proof of signature).

No other forms of identification will be accepted.

Exam fee payments

Exam places will not be secured until full payment has cleared.

You are permitted to book more than one exam at a time, but full payment must be made in order to secure your place.

Special Arrangements

If you require special arrangements for the exam (for example extra time) this must be stated at the time of the booking. Medical proof for special arrangements is required by the awarding body and should be sent to Training Link at least 7 days prior to the exam date. If you do not provide the required documentation in the time stated you will still be able to sit the exam, but your request for special arrangements will not be fulfilled.

Cancellation and refunds

If you want to cancel or change the date of your exam giving us at least 7 days’ notice, you can do so, but this will incur a fee of £20.00.
If less than 7 days’ notice is given, you will not be able to cancel or make any changes to your exam date/time. Furthermore, no refunds will be offered or given.

No refunds will be given if you fail to arrive for your exam on time. Please make sure you make a careful note of the time and date of your exams.

In the unlikely event that Training Link has to cancel an exam, we will attempt to notify you as soon as is reasonably possible. You will be offered a choice of alternative dates at no extra charge.

We will share the personal information you give us with AAT in order to process your exam. This includes, but is not limited to, name, date of birth, AAT membership number and any medical information you provide for special arrangements.

Communication is Key

Whilst these terms and conditions are in place, they are also at the discretion of Training Link.
Neither Training Link nor the student shall be held liable for failure or delay in the performance of its obligations, if such performance is delayed or hindered by the occurrence of an unforeseeable act or event which is beyond the reasonable control of either party (Force Majeure Events).

Acts or events constituting Force Majeure Events shall include, but not limited to Act of God, government intervention, directives or policies.

The party affected by a Force Majeure Event shall notify the other as soon as reasonably practicable after commencement of a Force Majeure Event.
