“I’ve always been interested in finances and accounting so becoming a bookkeeper was a natural choice for me. As a current business owner I was keen to choose a route where I could set up my own practice at the end of my studies and build up my own bookkeeping business, initially alongside my driving school. “I started studying with Training Link around May/June 2019 and fitted my studies around my existing work commitments. I was a little fortunate in having some enforced downtime when the Coronavirus pandemic arrived in the UK. It meant that I was able to complete my studies much more quickly and by May 2020 I was qualified to ICB level 3 in bookkeeping and accounts, and also gained my ICB Payroll Diploma.
