Before leaving the security of full-time employment to work for myself, I wanted to ensure I was fully equipped to run my business day to day and have all the qualifications my potential clients would require.

I invested in Training Link’s ICB Complete Package distance learning course so I could undertake training at my own pace, and in my own time, via online methods rather than attending classrooms. This meant I could also continue to work in my role as a purchase ledger whilst I built a small client base.

It was a big investment for me, but well worth it. Having completed ICB Levels 1, 2 and 3, I am looking forward to progressing through Payroll and Self-Assessment. I have also had Sage training which has been invaluable for some of my clients.

Since taking the leap of faith and leaving full time employment in January 2018, my business, Greensand Bookkeeping, has grown rapidly, and is certified by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, of which I am also a member. I hope to continue to succeed through the years and to develop my skills further through the training I am undertaking with Training Link.”
