All who attend are sure to be looked after, with a hot lunch and tea and coffee throughout the day.

This year, and a first for the ICB, there will be an evening of music and dance after the evening meal and Luca Awards ceremony on day one, so there might be a few sore heads at the start of day two!

Exhibition

At the heart of the Summit is the exhibition. This is the hub where the profession’s leading brands and suppliers are located; from Sage, Intuit and Xero, to the ICB’s most successful training provider, Training Link.

Keynote Sessions

This section of the bookkeepers summit is where the most informed and influential minds of the profession will be sharing their insights with you and setting out the road-map for the future.

Workshops

Whether you’re a student or a new (or even a fully established) bookkeeper, you’ll leave the Summit with new knowledge, vital tools, and CPD certificates from the targeted training sessions that take place on both days. Key topics for 2018 include Student Core Syllabus Revision, MTD, GDPR & Cyber, Digital Skills and Automation, Pricing, Scaling and Regulatory Changes.

Networking

With so many bookkeepers all under one roof, this is your chance to network with your peers, gain the confidence to launch a business, or learn how to drive efficiency and expand. Whilst there is a huge amount of information to hand, the Summit is also about having fun and sharing the joy of bookkeeping. If you have never been to an ICB summit, what are you waiting for!

Luca Awards

After a busy first day, everyone will be looking forward to unwinding from the bookkeepers summit; a drinks reception and three-course dinner is the first order of the evening followed by the prestigious Luca awards, the Oscars of the bookkeeping industry! This is your opportunity to get to know your local branch and toast the success of your fellow members.

This year Training Link will be hoping to win the “Large Training Provider of the Year” award for an unprecedented 7th year. A very tall order, but if anyone can, Training Link can!

And for the very first time you’ll be able to dance the night away at the Luca Awards disco…it’s time to party!
