Remote AAT Invigilation

Learners enrolled on AAT courses now have the opportunity to schedule certain AAT exams to be taken from the comfort of their own homes.
This new option eliminates the necessity for learners to be physically present at a designated examination venue. Now, you can sit your assessments remotely, with the flexibility to choose any day of the week, including weekends, and at a time that suits you best.

 

Taking your Remote Exams

Before deciding to sit your assessment via remote invigilation, it is important that you understand how it works.

What follows is a brief snapshot of some key points, but we would urge you to please read the AAT’s Remote Invigilation pre-assessment information guide before making a booking.

• Be aware of the minimum supporting specifications and software needed.
• You will need a working webcam & microphone (laptops are fine).
• You will need a room free from distractions and interruptions. You will be required to record a 360-degree view of the room.
• In the event of any IT issues during your exam, you will be responsible for submitting your own incident report with the AAT.
• Scrap paper is not permitted. There will be an area within the portal where you can make notes.
• Calculators are not permitted; an online version will be provided within the portal.
• You MUST have a stable internet connection during the assessment. Any drop-off might result in your assessment being declared null and void.
• Your result will be released within 15 working days.

Fees

In addition to the AAT assessment fee (£38 to £68, depending on which assessment it is) and the remote invigilation fee (£37), we charge a £20 administration fee.
