Large Training Provider of the Year…again!
On the 26th November the 9th annual Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) Summit and LUCA Awards ceremony took place, and Training Link were announced winners of the ‘Large Training Provider of the Year’ award for the 7th consecutive year. Since 2012 they have been considered the best provider of accredited ICB courses!
Hundreds of ICB members made their way to the beautiful London Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, a stone’s throw from Heathrow airport to attend this prestigious event.
This two day event is a fantastic opportunity for ICB members to meet fellow members in practice, students, industry experts, software providers, plus many more individuals and businesses. It is also a fantastic opportunity to catch up on the industry as a whole, attend a whole host of workshops, as well as listen to some fantastic keynotes from various leaders in the industry.
The evening of day one resulted in a sumptuous 3 course meal followed by the eagerly anticipated LUCA awards, the OSCARS of the Bookkeeping industry.
As well as winning the Large Training Provider of the Year award, our very own Tutor, Beverley Roberts also won the Tutor of the Year award!

Our student Husein Lakha was also shortlisted for the Student of the Year award.
Huge congratulations also goes to Gill Tucker who was honoured to have been made Companion of the ICB in recognition of her outstanding service and dedication to the bookkeeping profession. She is only the second non-practicing ICB member (globally) to have had this accolade bestowed upon them.
What will 2019 bring? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain…We will be making even greater strides than ever before to ensuring the continued successes of our students!
