Meet The Tutors
Award-winning tutors. Real-world experience. Named specialists — not anonymous course writers.
Every Training Link course is written, updated, and taught by a full-time specialist tutor — not a part-time practitioner fitting teaching around other work. When you ask a question, you’re talking to the person who helped to build the resources you’re studying from. That’s not something every provider can say.
Tutor of the Year 2026
AAT Levels 1, 2 & 3 — Bookkeeping & Accounting
Ben Campbell
"If you don't have that foundation, you might not even recognise when something's wrong. You haven't covered it — so you don't know to look for it."
PQ Magazine Tutor of the Year 2026, free revision sessions open to every AAT student, and 17 years in education. Ben teaches AAT Levels 1, 2 and 3 on both the bookkeeping and accounting pathways at Training Link — and his approach to teaching is built on one conviction: manual foundations before software, every time.

Tutor of the Year 2009
ICB Payroll & ICB Level 4
Jo Fredriksen
"If you don't understand how the figures are calculated, you're not doing payroll — you're doing data entry. Those figures are someone's wages. Put yourself in their position."
Jo has been working in payroll since 2000. She wrote the Training Link ICB Payroll course, updates every page of it every tax year, and teaches it. She has also tutored ICB Level 4 units including Self-Assessment Tax, Corporation Tax, and Financial Statements. In 2023 she was awarded the ICB Companionship — the institute's highest individual honour.
ICB Bookkeeping Levels 2 & 3
Michele Baker
"If a student is focused only on the computerised side, they're only learning data entry. Without the manual foundations, you won't know where that other entry has gone."
Michele has been teaching ICB bookkeeping for 20 years. She wrote many of the resources for the Training Link ICB Level 2 and Level 3. ICB Tutor of the Year 2022, nominated on four further occasions, and recipient of PQ Magazine's Editor's Special Award.
ICB levels 2 and 3
Bev Roberts
"You need to be able to explain in different ways to help get the penny to drop."
Bev is lead tutor for our ICB Level 2 and Level 3 bookkeeping courses and will be your tutor throughout. ICB Tutor of the Year 2018, and shortlisted again in 2025 and 2026.
