Ben Campbell Wins Tutor of the Year at the PQ Magazine Awards 2026

We have some very exciting news to share — and if you’ve had the pleasure of attending one of Ben’s revision sessions, we think you’ll agree he more than deserves it.

Ben Campbell, Training Link’s dedicated Level 2 and 3 AAT Tutor, has been named Tutor of the Year at the prestigious PQ Magazine Awards 2026. Everyone here at Training Link couldn’t be prouder.

A Night to Remember

The annual PQ Magazine Awards ceremony is one of the highlights of the accountancy and finance education calendar. This year’s event was held at the stunning Bloomsbury Ballroom in London — a fitting setting for an evening that celebrates the very best in professional qualifications training.

The room was filled with a who’s who of the industry: representatives from leading awarding bodies including AAT and ICB, software giants like Sage and Xero, and of course a host of talented, hard-working nominees competing across more than 20 categories. It’s a genuinely competitive field, which makes Ben’s win all the more remarkable.

Why Ben Won

Ben’s recognition isn’t just well-deserved — it’s long overdue. Since joining Training Link five years ago, he has thrown himself into his role with a level of commitment that goes far beyond simply support.

His teaching covers AAT Levels 2 and 3, and anyone who has studied with him will know that he brings a rare combination of clarity, patience, and genuine enthusiasm to every topic. But what truly sets Ben apart is what he does outside of his timetabled teaching.

For some time now, Ben has been running free revision sessions open to all AAT students — not just those who study with Training Link. It’s a remarkable gesture, and a reflection of his belief in helping as many students to succeed as possible. These sessions have helped hundreds of learners build confidence ahead of their assessments, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

The Tutor of the Year award recognises exactly that kind of dedication: going the extra mile, putting students first, and making a tangible difference to people’s lives and careers.

A Strong Night for Training Link

Ben’s win was the highlight of an already exciting evening for Training Link. We were nominated in four categories in total, a testament to the quality of the team and the students we work with.

We were shortlisted for Online College of the Year — recognition of the work the whole Training Link team puts into delivering an excellent distance learning experience.

And Training Link’s Level 4 tutor, Will Boardman, was recognised for his ongoing work with his YouTube channel with a shortlisting for Student Champion of the Year.

We were also proud to see our student Michaela Howes shortlisted for Distance Learning Student of the Year. Michaela is no stranger to awards recognition — she recently took home a win at the AAT Awards — and her continued success is a source of huge pride for everyone here. Her dedication and hard work are a genuine inspiration.

Congratulations, Ben

Winning an industry award like this is no small thing. The PQ Magazine Awards are voted on and judged by people across the profession who understand what great teaching looks like — and this year, they unanimously agreed that Ben Campbell is the best of the best.

From all of us at Training Link: congratulations, Ben. You absolutely deserve it.
